Chad Kroeger, is the lead vocalist and guitarist in the popular rock band Nickelback. Additionally, he has written, produced, and performed for other musicians, such as Tim McGraw, Santana, Daughtry, Travis Tritt, and Timbaland. More than 50 million records have been sold by Nickelback, and the band has received five S.O.C.A.N. International Achievement Awards. When Kroeger released the song ‘Hero’ from the “Spider-Man” soundtrack, he proved to be a great artist even without Nickelback. Additionally, he has created music for several different bands, including Default, Theory of a Deadman, and Bo Bice
Before Fame
In the early 1990s, Kroeger was part of a grunge cover band, Village Idiot, with his cousin Brandon Kroeger and future Nickelback members bassist Mike Kroeger (his brother) and singer Ryan Peake.
